So I was wondering if its possible to connect a gamepad/joystick/controller
Preferably Xbox USB gamepad or any other gamepad via OTG USB cable to play ppsspp( heard about using otg cables to play with gamepads/joysticks for android gaming).. Does the android version actually work with gamepads and if so has anyone tried It via otg cable.. Or do I have to buy an android controller
Lol I'm playing dbz shin budokai 2 and I beat the game with touchscreen
But its soon much easier to play with a gamepad

Yes, it does. I use my usb controller (same as I use in PC) in my phone, and works fine. I think it works with the most controllers. But your battery will get over fast.

Don't get a Moga if you're playing a brawler or a fighting game that requires fast inputs or fast taps, there is input loss when performing fast taps with those Moga controllers, I own one (It's much goddamn worse than the virtual D-pad on the touch screen, can't even dash in BlazBlue or GuiltyGear games).
For best playability I suggest wired controllers plugged with OTG cables like the Xbox 360's one, there are apps on the market that allows further configuration on these controllers.
